Mission Map Overview
Throughout your journey, you will encounter unique areas called Mission Maps. Mission Maps are instanced dungeons that you can play solo or in a party up to 4 players for the chance to find rare armor, weapons and item drops.
After entering a Mission Map, you’ll have to defeat all of the enemies to move on to the next stage before facing the final boss. When you’ve completed the map, you’ll receive a ranking based on your performance – so bring your A-game!
Locations
Mission Maps can be found on most Field Maps. To check if the Field Map you’re on has a Mission Map, use the Mini-Map (‘N’ key) and look for the padlock symbol.
Entering the Mission Map
To enter a Mission Map, stand over the portal and press the ‘Z’ key to bring up the menu. Click the desired difficulty and get ready for a challenge!
Mission Map Levels
You have several options when playing Mission Maps. Each Mission Map has four difficulty options, plus a fifth option as described below. The levels are rated from 1 Star to 4 Stars. To unlock the higher difficulty levels, you must complete each star level from lowest to highest.
Choose wisely – while harder difficulties can potentially give out better loot, you’ll have to fight through additional stages before completing it. The higher the difficulty, the harder your enemies will be. This also applies to the end boss, so recruit party members and stock up on potions before going for 4 Stars!
